The screening is conducted to help identify health concerns at an early stage. Health screenings are not intended to be diagnostic, but to identify students with potential problems. Please read the attached Health Screening Information from the Millard Public Schools and the Nebraska Department of Heath and Human Services or check their website for a Health and Human Services Document identifying which screenings are given at each grade level.
If you have any questions, please contact the District’s Head Nurse, Nancy Nielsen at (402)715-6322 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Red Ribbon week is October 27-October 31
Red Ribbon Week is a nationally recognized drug awareness campaign used to encourage communities and individuals to take a stand and a personal commitment to live drug free lives, free of illegal.
Red Ribbon Week was established to preserve the memory of a DEA Special Agent, Enrique Camarena, who died at the hands of drug traffickers in Mexico while fighting the battle against illegal drugs to keep our country and children safe. The Red Ribbon campaign helps to further the cause for which he gave his life.
